PocketPC

The PocketPC operating system range is a re-branded Microsoft Windows CE, which had aquired the unfortunate abbreviation of "WinCE". The majority of PocketPC devices use an ARM CPU, but others such as MIPS and SH3 are fairly commonplace. To find out which type you have, do the following:

Call up the main menu, usually by tapping the Windows icon.
Select "Settings"
Select the "System" tab
Select the "About" application
Click on the "Version" tab.

You may find the CPU described as an 'Xscale' or a 'PXA nnn' . These are actually variants of the ARM CPU and behave in much the same way as far as SuperWaba is concerned.
